Because it is all about the drivers!
Let’s face it, without truck drivers, America does stop! That is why BCP Transportation made an investment in a brand new drivers room to show appreciation for our drivers and the sacrifices they make to move America’s products.
Complete with a pool table, several large screen TV’s, showers, laundry, grills, free coffee, work areas and a comfortable area to relax, this space is only available to BCP drivers exclusively. Rest is an important part of a truck drivers job – it ensures that the products arrive to the receiver safely.
The BCP drivers room was branded “The Flip Side” to show that this space is not about BCP, rather it is about our reliable employees. The Flip Side is intended to be a space where drivers can socialize, relax, do paperwork, and catch up on laundry or the big game on TV.
We recently evaluated all of our possible touch points with our drivers, in an effort to improve the overall experience our employees have and it became apparent that aside from our trucks, trailers and equipment, that our drivers would find value in a nice space.
Truck drivers are hard to find these days. We are proud that we have one of the safest and most reliable workforces around. Our drivers take care of our customers – by getting their product moved safely, timely and cost-effectively. And that is why, for BCP, it is really all about the drivers!
